Wings Up: A Bystander Intervention Program (Students)

Students learn to identify risks, recognize warning signs, acknowledge barriers to action, discover realistic options for intervention, and discuss proactive behaviors. NOTE: This is a mandatory component for all incoming first-year and transfer students. If missed, you will be fined or attend a one-time make-up session.

Parents Panel / Parent and Family Advisory Committee (Parents)

Hear from parents and families of current Hornets who represent a diverse population of our community as they share their experiences and those of their students. Ask questions and get real answers about any subject.

Please join together for this tradition as the Class of 2028 Time Capsule is buried at the base of the Victory Bell.

First 150 students; must have a ticket to attend! Fun in the sun as you get downtown and enjoy a 700 ft water slide and meet other Lynchburg area folks. Come wearing what you plan to slide in knowing that you will get wet! Sliding tubes are provided.
