Student Transition Program

Program Overview

The Student Transition Program equips newly enrolled students with the tools, relationships, and confidence necessary to successfully transition from high school to university life — particularly those who may face additional challenges navigating the college experience. While STP is open to all incoming students, the following students are highly encouraged to participate:

First generation college students

BIPOC students (Black, Indigenous, persons of color)

Pell Grant eligible

Neurodivergent

Students feeling unsure about their transition to university

Eligibility

The program is free and open to all incoming first-year students. Registration must be completed by July 31, 2025, to participate in the program.
