Intramural Sports

Intramural sports are leagues of sports where undergraduate students, graduate students, and employees of the University of Lynchburg can compete in a variety of sports during the Fall and Spring semesters.

Sports Leagues

The sports offered depends on the season of the semester and what has been most requested by the Lynchburg campus community. Some examples of sports that have been hosted based on the Fall and Spring Semesters are:

Fall Leagues Spring Leagues
Flag Football Spikeball
Tennis Sand Volleyball
Sand Volleyball Pickleball
Pickleball Basketball
Soccer Floor Hockey
Kickball Ultimate Frisbee
Turkey Bowl (1-day Flag Football tournament) Shamrock Bowl (1-day Flag Football tournament)

How to sign up

Create an IMLeagues.com account to join or create a team within the leagues being offered. Get a group of friends to join your team or join the league as a “free agent” to be picked up by an existing team and make new friends. For every sport, there are Men’s, Women’s, and Co-Ed league options.

Create Your IMLeagues Account

Step 1

Go to IMLeagues.com and click Create Account using your Lynchburg email address (it’s at the top right of the page).

Follow the prompts to create your account. An email will be sent to you from IMLeagues containing your password.

Use your new password to sign in. Your IMLeagues home profile page will appear.

A box will appear asking you to join Lynchburg Intramurals. Or you can use the “Schools” tab to find University of Lynchburg’s page. Click Join School.

  • When added as an affiliate, go to University of Lynchburg located in the upper half of the page and click the dropdown box School Home.

Scroll down to see the different sports available and the dates that registration begins and ends. Click the sport you’re interested in. For example, if you want to play sand volleyball on a co-ed team, click COED League, and select the applicable option: Free Agent (someone who wants to play but doesn’t have a team), Create a Team (if you want to be a captain) or Join Team (a team that has already been created).
