Choosing a college is a big decision, and you want to feel confident about your choice.
So, before you submit your fully refundable* $300 enrollment deposit to become a Lynchburg Hornet, you might like to know why.
Most schools require some sort of deposit during enrollment — that’s normal. Some use it as a firm RSVP; others apply it toward housing or something similar.
At the University of Lynchburg, your enrollment deposit saves your spot in classes and sets you up to make a housing choice you’ll love. The sooner you make your deposit, the sooner your place in our incoming class is secured — and you’re officially a Lynchburg Hornet!
It’s simple:
Your enrollment deposit will be credited to your University of Lynchburg account and go toward your tuition. To obtain a refund of the enrollment deposit, you must submit a written request by May 1 for fall applicants and Dec.1 for spring applicants. All requests for enrollment deposit refunds should be emailed to [email protected].
Please note that the enrollment deposit is non-transferable and non-refundable after the specified deadlines. However, it can be deferred for up to one academic year if you decide to attend in a subsequent semester.
