The University of Lynchburg will again participate in Virginia Private College Week, held July 17-22. During the weeklong event, 23 colleges in the state will offer sessions at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday-Friday and at 9 a.m. Saturday. Lynchburg’s Saturday session will serve as a comprehensive summer open house.
Virginia Private College Week is sponsored by the Council of Independent Colleges in Virginia and geared toward rising juniors, seniors, and their families. Prospective transfer students are also invited.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to visit several schools on your list all at one time,” said Susan Hogg, assistant vice president for enrollment management at Lynchburg. “We can’t wait to show students what we have to offer.”
There’s no need to sign up for Virginia Private College Week, but students should register with each college for their information session. Register for a tour at Lynchburg here.
All visiting students will be entered into a drawing for one of five $100 Amazon gift cards, and the more colleges students visit, the better their chances of winning one of the gift cards.
