The University of Lynchburg has partnered with Vituity, a national physician-led and physician-owned healthcare organization, to expand access to advanced education, including Lynchburg’s Doctor of Medical Science, Doctor of Executive Leadership, and Master of Healthcare Administration.

Lynchburg collaborates with organizations like Vituity to understand their workforce priorities and connect employers with relevant academic opportunities for their teams.
“Strong partnerships begin with listening,” said Dr. Blake Rogers ’23 DMSc, program director of Lynchburg’s Doctor of Medical Science program and a key coordinator of the partnership. “Lynchburg brings academic strength and a genuine willingness to work alongside our partners.
“We worked closely with Vituity to understand what would serve its employees and developed a clear, flexible approach that makes advanced education easier to pursue.”
This partnership reflects the University’s broader commitment to working directly with employers to make graduate education more accessible.
“At Vituity, investing in our Vitans is central to the experience we create for our teams and the patients we serve,” said Tennille Lowery, Vituity’s chief experience officer. “Our partnership with the University of Lynchburg opens the door to affordable, healthcare-focused education, so our people now have more accessible, affordable paths to advanced healthcare education.
“When our people grow, they bring that knowledge and leadership straight back to their teams and their work.”
Dr. Sally Selden, University president, agreed. “Partnerships like this create opportunities for people to grow and organizations to thrive,” she said. “We are proud to partner with Vituity to expand access to advanced education and help healthcare professionals in their organization grow as leaders.”
