Two exhibits, “Cultural Witness: Art, Artifacts and Social Order, Selections from the Daura Museum Collection” and “The Beauty of the Land: Watercolor Landscapes of Pierre Daura,” will open Monday, Aug. 22, in the University of Lynchburg’s Daura Museum of Art.
A third exhibit, “Antique Maps,” also will open that day in the Lobby Gallery at Dillard Fine Arts Center, where the Daura Museum is located.
An opening reception for all three exhibits will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Aug. 22. Admission is free and the public is invited. The Daura Museum of Art is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibits run through Friday, Oct. 7.
