The University of Lynchburg’s annual Clifton L. Snidow Lecture will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 1, in Snidow Chapel. The event will feature the Rev. Gerlyn Henry, rector of Church of the Holy Wisdom in Scarborough, Ontario.
Henry’s lecture is titled, “Whispered Futures: The Radical Act of Remembering Forward.” The event is free and the public is invited.
Henry is an ordained Anglican priest and co-host of “Two Priests and Palestine,” a 10-episode podcast that “sheds light on the reality of Palestine.” She also is a Preaching Justice Fellow with the San Francisco-based Center for Faith and Justice and anti-racism facilitator with the Anglican Diocese of Toronto.
She has been featured on CBS and in People magazine and the Toronto Star. She has more than 500,000 online followers, and her first book will be published next year by The Bindery Agency.
