The Clifton L. Snidow Lecture on Christian Life and Work will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 25, in the University of Lynchburg’s Snidow Chapel. The speaker, the Rev. Dr. Pamela Lightsey, will speak on “The Persuasiveness of Perfunctory Religion.”

For this year’s Snidow Lecture, the Office of Spiritual Life will host Brian Murphy and Father Shay Kearns of Queer Theology, an organization devoted to creating a space where people can explore how their sexuality and gender identity can enrich their faith.
The Rev. David Finnegan-Hosey will present this year’s Snidow Lecture on Monday, Sept. 20.
