Nursing students may qualify for membership in Sigma Theta, the International Honor Society of Nursing (Xi Upsilon Chapter).
Students may also join the Student Nursing Association of University of Lynchburg (SNAUL).

The Student Nursing Association is a chapter of The National Student Nurses Association (NSNA). Membership is open to all nursing students.

A board of 5 elected officers directs the activities of the Student Nursing Association.
