Making sure future health care providers work as a team
Lynchburg nursing, PA, and DPT students work together in healthcare simulations, part of an interprofessional education program designed to make sure future clinicians can work together seamlessly and provide better patient outcomes. Future collaborations between these programs will involve students in athletic training, mental health, and special education and involve community service, seminars, and clinical experiences.

Centra helicopter crew will provide training to LC students
Centra One, a medical helicopter, will land on Fox Field at about 4 p.m. Sunday. The flight crew will then give hands-on tours to members of the Lynchburg College Emergency Medical Service team, as well as nursing and physician assistant students.
