The University of Lynchburg announced today that its equestrian program has reached an agreement with Liberty University to ride from the Liberty Mountain Equestrian Center in 2020-21 and beyond.

‘Five for the Hive’ campaign gets $100K boost from a ’91 grad
A new initiative is giving Lynchburg supporters the chance to help update five athletics facilities on campus. “Five for the Hive” includes improvements to Turner Gymnasium; Shellenberger, Moon, and Fox fields; as well as the tennis courts.

SHAPE America honors LC health and physical education student
The Society of Health and Physical Educators has selected Morgan Singer ’16 as a Major of the Year, an annual award that recognizes outstanding undergraduate students. She will receive the award at the national SHAPE America Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in April. Morgan is currently student-teaching in Lynchburg-area public schools.
