Before applying for financial aid, you may want to estimate what it will cost to attend the University of Lynchburg. To do so, you will first need to determine your first-year academic scholarship amount which you may include in the net price calculator to determine your estimated cost.
First-year Academic Scholarships
All traditionally entering first-year (not transferring from a previous college and less than 25 years old) are automatically considered for academic scholarships once admitted to the University of Lynchburg — no separate scholarship application is required.
Academic scholarships and awards range from $15,000 to $21,000 for the 2022-23 entering class and are awarded to traditional full-time students. The University of Lynchburg uses the high school grade point average to award scholarships. Calculate your level of scholarship.
Transfer students are also eligible for scholarships and there is a discounted tuition rate for students in our Access program (adult learners age 25 and older).
Net Price Calculator
The 2022-23 cost of attendance, or price of attendance, is an estimated full and reasonable cost of completing a full year as a full-time student. It includes tuition and fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and miscellaneous costs.
This estimate is based on the cost of attendance and scholarships for 2022-23 and is an average amount for what your cost might be. Your actual costs may vary from the estimate.

- Transfer Net Price Calculator: intended for transfer students under the age of 25.
After supplying some information about your educational background, plans, and finances, the calculator helps determine your estimated out-of-pocket expenses (net cost). Please be aware that these are estimates and your actual financial aid award may vary.
