Artwork by area high school students will be on display Friday, April 8, through Tuesday, April 26, in the Lobby Gallery of the University of Lynchburg’s Dillard Fine Arts Center. The High School Invitational Exhibition will feature young artists from eight area high schools. The public is invited and admission is free.

The University of Lynchburg art department and Daura Museum of Art will host a night of art on campus from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18. Admission is free and the public is invited.
The University of Lynchburg, specifically its Gender Studies program and the offices of Equity and Inclusion, Student Engagement and Leadership Development, and Housing and Residence Life, will present two events based on the book “The Lavender Scare: The Cold War Persecution of Gays and Lesbians in the Federal Government.”
The University of Lynchburg’s theatre department will present its take on Jane Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” Thursday, February 20, through Sunday, February, 23, in Dillard Theatre at the Dillard Fine Arts Center.
Artwork by area high school students is on display in the Lobby Gallery at the University of Lynchburg’s Dillard Fine Arts Center. This is the second year Lynchburg has hosted an exhibition of high school artwork. It began when art professors proposed the idea and invited area high school art teachers to nominate some of their students’ best work to be displayed on campus.
