The University of Lynchburg is inviting admitted students to attend Days on the Dell, a series of open houses in March and April. The Friday and Saturday events will be held in person and will follow strict COVID-19 guidelines. The dates are March 19, March 27, April 9, April 10, and April 17.

University of Lynchburg announces tuition refresh for Fall 2021
The University of Lynchburg today announced that it will lower tuition for Fall 2021-22 from about $54,000 to a total price tag of just under $46,000. Factoring in the institution’s generous financial aid and scholarships, students will pay about $24,000 a year on average, which compares with most public universities in Virginia.

The University of Lynchburg has adopted a test-optional policy for students who apply for admission for the Fall 2021 and Spring 2022 semesters. This comes in response to nationwide SAT and ACT test-taking challenges and technical difficulties amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
COVID-19 waiver: Deadline extended for Stay Close, Go Far Scholarship
Lynchburg students interested in attending the University of Lynchburg or another local institution can now take advantage of the city’s Stay Close, Go Far Scholarship on a semester-by-semester basis. The new, extended deadline to apply is July 15.

Memorial Ballroom gets a facelift
Memorial Ballroom, a centerpiece of Lynchburg College campus life, is getting a major facelift this holiday season. Contractors began working in the ballroom in Hall Campus Center on Friday, November 17. Over the next two months or so, the room will be transformed into a modern facility with a new floor and ceiling, audio-visual upgrades, and a permanent stage with an attached ramp to improve accessibility.
