Overview

Completed in 1967 and named in honor of Dr. John A. Tate, president of the Board of Trustees, a Disciples minister, and important in President Dr. Riley B. Montgomery’s administration.
Tate Hall is one of two residence halls exclusively for first-year students, housing approximately 341 students. Located on the Dell next to Montgomery Hall and Hundley Hall, this five-story building features primarily double rooms on each wing. Tate Hall has one elevator and has recently undergone renovations.
