The 2024 University of Lynchburg High School Invitational Exhibition, featuring artwork by area high school students, is currently on display in the Lobby Gallery at Dillard Fine Arts Center.
Schools represented in the annual exhibition include Altavista Combined School, New Covenant Schools, and Amherst County, Campbell County, E.C. Glass, Heritage, Jefferson Forest, Liberty, and Nelson County high schools.
The exhibition closes on Thursday, Nov. 14, with a reception and awards ceremony that will be held from 6-7 p.m. Awards will be presented at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited and admission is free.
“The University of Lynchburg Art Department and the Daura Museum of Art are thrilled to host the 2024 University of Lynchburg Invitational High School Art Exhibition,” said Brooke Marcy, director of the Daura Museum of Art.
“This exhibition highlights the extraordinary talents of regional high school students and celebrates the dedication of the teachers who inspire, teach, and motivate.”
Art lovers can cast their votes for the University of Lynchburg Choice Award at the gallery.
