Commuter Students

Will be located on the first floor of Drysdale Student Center.  The Commuter Student Lounge is currently undergoing renovations so please check back here for updates.

This will be a great place to study, relax, and hang out with friends.

• Study rooms
• Lounge space

CSA is a student organization that helps to plan programs for non-residential students and is your voice on the Student Government Association (SGA). Please visit the Commuter Student Association page for more information on how to join.

CAW takes place in both the fall and spring semester. It’s a week-long program of events designed for commuter students, including:

• Free coffee and donuts in the commuter parking lot
• Trivia night

Commuter Appreciation Days for Spring 2025 will take place during the week of March 24-28.

Commuter students are encouraged to park in the commuter lots (Thompson Hall, Dillard rear lot, or the gravel lot located on the corner of Westwood St. and College St.).

There is a $100 annual registration fee for full-time non-resident (commuting) first-year students and all sophomores, juniors, and senior students.

Students residing off-campus may choose from the following options:

• Unlimited Meal Plan
• 80 Lunch Plan
• Hornet Plan 300

Students may also supplement their meal plan with a Lynchburg Express Account.
