Shelly Milks ’13 top 30 in NCAA
Shelly Milks ’13, a three-time All-American field hockey standout, is one of 30 women selected from a group of more than 450 nominees for the 2013 NCAA Woman of the Year award.
Player of the Year
Junior midfielder Shelly Milks has added All-State Field Hockey Division Player of the Year to her resume.
Milks was earlier named a 2011 First-Team All-American by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and also the All-South Region Player of the Year.
Centra donates ECG machines
Lynchburg College recently had two electrocardiogram (ECG) machines donated by the Cardiovascular Group of the Centra Stroobants Heart Center given in memory of freshman Adam Seymour, who tried out for the Hornet men’s soccer team last fall.
