Spring 2023
How to Get Your Room Assignment
If you’re a new undergraduate student planning to live on campus for the Spring 2023 semester, you will need to contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life to make housing arrangements. For assistance, please contact Teresa Bridges, Assistant Director for Housing Operations, at 434.544.8725 or bridges_t@lynchburg.edu. Please plan to contact the Office of Housing and Residence Life by no later than Jan. 16, 2023, to secure on campus housing for Spring 2023.
All incoming first-year students are placed in either Montgomery or Tate Hall. Transfer students and other incoming students will be placed in one of our returning student residential facilities.
New, transfer, and other incoming students will pick-up their residential key(s) on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the first floor lobby of Drysdale Student Center. Students will then be directed to Campus Safety and Security so that they may pick up their University ID card. Students must utilize their University ID card to access the residence facilities.
Housing Accommodations
The University of Lynchburg accepts and considers requests for reasonable accommodations in campus housing at any time. Individuals requesting accommodations should complete and provide the Disability Accommodations Request Form for University Housing as soon as possible before moving into campus housing.
However, if the accommodation request is made fewer than 60 days before the individual intends to move into University housing, the University of Lynchburg cannot guarantee it will be able to meet the individual’s accommodation needs during the first semester or term of occupancy.
To be considered for housing accommodations, students must apply for housing accommodations through the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources. This can be a lengthy process, so students will want to review these guidelines and begin the process as soon as possible.
