During breaks and vacations, undergraduate residential areas of the campus are closed.
Note: This information is related to housing/residential closing. Academic classes and coursework must be followed per the instructor for that class. If there are any conflicts, please contact your Community Assistant or the Office of Housing and Residence Life for accommodations. Residential closing does not excuse you from missing class.
Arriving Early or Leaving Late
If you need to arrive back to campus early or leave campus late during one of the breaks, you must apply for permission by completing the early arrival/late application that will be available on the Housing Portal.
Undergraduate students will be provided instructions and dates on completing the early arrival/late stay application before each break. Approved requests to arrive early and/or stay late may result in a daily rate, to be assessed to your student account.
Undergraduate international students are able to remain in campus housing for all breaks (fall, Thanksgiving, winter, spring, and summer). The students will need to complete a late-stay application on the housing portal for each break. There is no charge for undergraduate international students to remain in housing during break periods.
