The University of Lynchburg’s Richard P. Gifford Lecture in Business and Leadership series will present “A Conversation with Nicole Lynn” at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8. The lecture, which is free and open to the public, will be held in Schewel Hall’s Sydnor Performance Hall.
Lynn is an attorney, author, and sports agent. She was the first Black woman to represent an NFL draft pick in 2019, when she represented defensive tackle Quinnen Williams. She went on to represent quarterback Jalen Hurts in 2020.

Lynn is president of Football for Klutch Sports Group and the author of “Agent You: Show Up, Do the Work and Succeed on Your Own Terms.” In 2019, she was featured in Glamour’s “Women of the Year” series.
She has a bachelor’s degree in business management and a Doctor of Law from the University of Oklahoma.
“Nicole Lynn’s story reminds us why we’re proud of Lynchburg’s reputation for grit,” said Dr. Tim Schauer, dean of Lynchburg’s School of Professional and Applied Sciences. “She didn’t wait for doors to open; she showed up, did the work, and created her own path.
“That’s the same spirit we see in our students here at the University of Lynchburg. Talent matters, but tenacity transforms careers. We’re honored to welcome someone who lives that truth.”
