Can I apply for on-campus employment?

International students can apply for on-campus employment and work up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and up to 40 hours per week during breaks. This includes work with contracted companies on campus such as Domino’s Pizza and others. Be sure to get authorization from your DSO to ensure employment meets your visa requirements.

1. ou can apply for campus jobs by searching student job opportunities.  Each posting will identify the job as either a staff, faculty, or student position. Click on the interested position and apply directly.
2. If hired for a position, make an appointment with the Student Employment Coordinator to receive an employment verification letter to be signed by a DSO then taken to the Social Security Administration office to apply for a social security number (SSN).  Visit www.ssa.gov to schedule your appointment and learn more about applying for a SSN.
