  • Meet graduation requirements.
Course Approval and Credits
  • Courses must be approved by school deans, department chairs, and the registrar.
  • Approved courses count towards University of Lynchburg degrees, and grades are included on the Lynchburg transcript and factored into the GPA.
Enrollment Process
  • To enroll, students must complete the CIC Consortium Form and submit it to the Registrar for approval.
  • Approved courses are accessible through Acadeum and the teaching institution’s learning management system.
  • Acadeum will provide further instructions and enrollment details via email.
Course Policy
  • Summer/winter terms: Take up to eight credits through the consortium.
  • Fall/Spring terms: Capped at four credits per semester, subject to approval by the associate provost.
  • A maximum of two consortium courses may count towards any single major, minor, or general education requirement unless further approved by the associate provost.
  • Out-of-residence courses are considered if no suitable alternatives are available through the consortium.
  • Consortium courses are charged at the standard University of Lynchburg per-credit rate.
