Graduation Process and Requirements
This page provides essential information on the graduation application process, degree requirements, credit evaluations, and commencement participation for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Lynchburg.
Applying to Graduate
To graduate, students must apply on myHive. The Registrar’s Office suggests applying a year in advance so an auditor can review your progress and help you adjust your course schedules if needed.
How to Apply:
- Log in to myHive.
- Click the Graduation Overview box.
- Select your program and follow the prompts.
The application is currently open to students completing their programs between October 2025 and August 2026.
Auditing Your Record
After you apply, an auditor will review your academic record. You will receive an email detailing any remaining requirements.
Candidates For Graduation
The auditor will then add you to the list of candidates for graduation.
Commencement Ceremony
All candidates for graduation during the period listed above are invited to participate in the May 2026 commencement activities.
