Job Responsibilities:

• Assists the Executive Director in the formulation of goals, objectives and activities for the development and implementation of interactions and programs related to increasing the career and professional readiness of our students and alumni.
• Serves as the primary career counselor/adviser for all currently enrolled students and alumni.
• Plan and execute campus-wide career development seminars, workshops, and classroom sessions to educate students on the need for and steps in the career planning process; including, but not limited to, personal effectiveness skills courses, focused career fairs, and classroom presentations by faculty invitation.
• Administer and interpret individual interest, skills, abilities, and values assessment instruments; including, but not limited to FOCUS II, and Clifton Strengths.
• Assess individual career development needs, providing students the skills necessary to understand the ramifications of their career decisions and actions.
