Biography

Shane Stelter is an Associate Director of Compliance at Johnson Health Center and an incoming instructor for the Master of Public Health program at the University of Lynchburg. He also serves as an Assistant Professor at Central Virginia Community College. A Doctor of Health Science candidate at Liberty University, his research examines patient acceptance of artificial intelligence in clinical settings. He holds an MPH in Nutrition and Epidemiology from Liberty, where he previously spent two years supporting student-athlete wellness for the university’s football team and three with the university’s men’s volleyball team.

Shane’s professional background spans clinical operations, health policy, and community outreach, including directing a medical weight loss program and leading infectious disease prevention initiatives. He brings practical, systems-level experience to the classroom. Outside of academia, Shane maintains a high-performance fitness routine and enjoys basketball.
