Dr. Jeremy Langett earned the Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) certification from the Public Relations Society of America. He also holds a BS in public relations from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, an MA in corporate communication from Duquesne University, and a PhD in rhetoric from Duquesne University.
Teaching Areas and Research
Langett teaches a variety of public relations courses and serves as the faculty adviser to the University of Lynchburg’s Public Relations Student Society of America, or PRSSA, chapter. He also teaches core requirement courses for all communication majors. His research explores the philosophy and ethics of strategic communication.
He has presented research at statewide, regional, and national communication conferences, and his work has been published in numerous academic journals, including the International Journal of Strategic Communication, Journal of Mass Media Ethics, and the Atlantic Journal of Communication.
