Events for October 1, 2026

Join us for the University of Lynchburg's annual Clifton L. Snidow Lecture, featuring the Rev. Gerlyn Henry, rector of the Church of the Holy Wisdom in Scarborough, Ontario, for a talk that reimagines how memory can shape the future. In "Whispered Futures: The Radical Act of Remembering Forward," Rev. Henry explores a provocative question: what if remembering isn't about looking back, but about actively building what comes next? Expect a thought-provoking evening that bridges faith, history, and hope. Snidow Chapel Thursday, Oct. 1 | 7 p.m. Free and open to the public
