Join Love Heals at the University of Lynchburg for a benefit concert featuring indie pop band Oceanic, with Central Virginia indie rock band Catapult City opening the evening.

The concert will take place Friday, Sept. 4, on the Dell in front of Hopwood Hall. Gates open at 6 p.m., and music begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, and donations are encouraged.

All donations and a percentage of concessions proceeds will benefit Lynchburg Cares, the University of Lynchburg’s crisis fund, which provides emergency financial assistance to faculty, staff, and students facing unexpected hardships.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase. A clear bag policy will be in effect.

Hosted by Lynchburg-based nonprofit Love Heals, the event brings the community together for an evening of live music while supporting University community members when they need it most.
