Erik’s passion is exercise. When he discovered exercise physiology, he decided to make a career of helping people achieve their fitness goals, from losing weight to being able to do their first pull up.

He found Lynchburg, where students had personal attention, an administration that listened to its students, and faculty who were dedicated to creating leaders, and knew it was right for him. He’s also a foodie and Lynchburg’s great food offerings didn’t hurt either.

Erik loves making a difference in people’s lives — and working with people who are different from him. He says Lynchburg gave him the support he needed to “be anything.”
