Brooke Lindgren ’18 is an embodiment of dedication and ambition in the field of criminology, driven by her passion for knowledge and service. According to her, the favorite criminology professor is Daniel Murphy, who genuinely cares about what he teaches and makes every class interesting.

While pursuing her studies, Brooke was a member of the equestrian team, which provided her with a sense of community. Her keen interest in constitutional law and law enforcement fueled her aspiration to work for the FBI, leading to her choice of major.

Brooke’s commitment to public safety and law enforcement is evident in her work at both the Henrico Police Department and the Hanover Sheriff’s Office. Her efforts have been instrumental in ensuring the safety and security of her community.

Brooke’s dedication extends beyond her professional pursuits. Her favorite class, Child Abuse, inspired her senior thesis, which reflects her commitment to addressing societal issues.
