Summer On-campus Housing

To apply to reside on campus during the summer, students must log into their Housing Portal through myHive and complete the Summer Housing Application (listed under “Applications”). The Summer Housing Application will be open on the housing portal from Feb. 26 – April 22.

Students approved to reside on campus during the summer will be placed in Montgomery Hall. Please note that on-campus dining options will be limited during the summer. The dining hall will be closed May 17-27. The dining hall will be open for limited meal hours, and students may pay per meal using debit/credit. Dining services will communicate dining hours and availability via email.

Check-in

Check-in for students approved to reside on campus for the duration of the summer or for the first summer school session will pick up their key at Campus Safety and Security on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Students will be approved to remain in their current on-campus housing assignment for the first week of the summer (May 18, 2024 to May 24, 2024).

Check-in for sessions two and three will occur the Saturday before classes start: June 8, 2024, and June 29, 2024.

Rates

Per Summer School Session$460
All Summer$1,610

We will try to place students in private bedrooms based on summer housing capacity. However, this is not guaranteed. If students must be placed in double rooms, the priority for single-room options will be given to students approved to remain on campus for longer periods.

The Solutions Center will send a bill for summer school in late April. Students will also be billed for summer housing in late April.

Residents are expected to follow the policies and procedures outlined in The Hornet student handbook.

Please note that summer school housing is only available through the last summer school session. After that time, summer school students are expected to move out until the fall semester. Early arrival into fall housing assignment is not permitted.
