Dr. Aronson joined the University of Lynchburg in 1989.

Biography: I am currently a Professor of Athletic Training. During my many years at Lynchburg, I have served as the Head Athletic Trainer, Clinical Education Coordinator, and Faculty Athletic Representative. I have been a certified Athletic Trainer for over 30 years and spent the first five years of my career working as an athletic trainer at Northwestern University.

  • AS in Physical Therapy Assistant Program – College of Health Science, 1996
  • MEd in Sports Medicine – University of Virginia, 1982
  • BS in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training – Canisius College, 1981

Research Interests

My dissertation was related to measuring the stiffness of the human Medial Collateral Ligament in males and females of distinct age groups. I am most interested in quantitative research related to clinical questions for the AT.
