The University of Lynchburg Physician Assistant Medicine Students Without Borders, or SWOB, will host a golf tournament fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13, to support its annual mission trip.

The tournament, held at London Downs Golf Club in Forest, Virginia, will be played “scramble style.” Teams of four tee off at 1:30 p.m.

Tickets are $100 each for community members and $85 for current University of Lynchburg PA Medicine students. The ticket cost includes cart fee, the round of golf, and range balls. A light lunch of hot dogs and chips will be provided. Tickets can be purchased by completing this form

Tiered sponsorships, starting at $250, are also available. There will also be a raffle.

SWOB is a student-led nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential medical and humanitarian services to underserved communities.

Funds raised will help SWOB provide medical supplies and care during its January 2026 medical humanitarian mission trip to Ecuador. In previous years, the group has taken students to Oaxaca, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic.
