Biography:

Heather Summers (she/her), PhD, is an assistant professor of Counselor Education. Her background prior to higher education was in school counseling, and she was recognized as Middle School Counselor of the Year for Osceola County Public Schools in Florida (2020-2021). Dr. Summers is an active member of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA) and the Virginia School Counseling Association (VSCA).
