Biography:

Allen TenBusschen was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He received his MFA in painting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a BFA from Brigham Young University – Idaho.

Allen has cultivated a robust exhibition record, with shows in New York City, Boston, Detroit winning numerous awards and accolades. With a focus on Realism, Allen’s practice is about the search for authenticity, in our perceptions of one another and the spaces we inhabit.
