The University of Lynchburg Community Health Center (ULCHC) is a student run, pro bono clinic. We provide free physical therapy services to people of the greater Lynchburg area who are uninsured, underinsured, or whose benefits have been exhausted.
The center is organized and run by doctoral students of the physical therapy program at University of Lynchburg who provide cutting-edge evidence-based therapy.
The students’ mission: To provide the highest quality evidence-based health services to patients in a collaborative, supportive environment for student education in order to increase the health, function and quality of life of the individuals within our community.
Students are able to provide quality, free services under the supervision of licensed physical therapists from within the faculty as well as from community partnerships with local clinicians.
Since 2012, the ULCHC has provided over $30,000 in free PT services to members of the Lynchburg community.
