Teaching Facilities

Students work one-on-one with museum professionals in the Daura Gallery, Lynchburg College’s art museum, and Historic Sandusky, Civil War house museum, the Union army headquarters during the 1864 Battle of Lynchburg, and the Ramsey-Freer Herbarium.


Students have opportunities to work and study on-campus and around the world through field trips; study abroad; internships; curating exhibits; graduate school; independent study; and gallery employment.


Students have access to the Museum Studies Library, located in the Daura Gallery offices, Dillard Fine Arts Center.
