Welcome to the University of Lynchburg! To make your transition to life as a Lynchburg second degree (summer entry) nursing student as smooth as possible, we offer programs and events designed specifically for you. We’re also happy to answer your questions at any time.
Get ready for Lynchburg in four easy steps:
- Log in to MyLynchburg.
- Select “students online” from the navigation on the left.
- Select the “drop/add courses” tab from the navigation at the top.
- Select the following courses:
- NRSG 220 A — Pathophysiology
- NRSG 225 A — Nursing Fundamentals
- NRSG 225L A — Nursing Fundamentals Lab
- NRSG 232 A — Health Assessment
- NRSG 232L A — Health Assessment Lab

- Visit the CastleBranch LY09dtim package page to place an order for the LYO9dtim package (drug testing and medical document manager).
- Read and acknowledge the information, then check the “I have read order instructions” box, and click the “click to continue” button.
- This service costs $95. Review your order, check the “I have read, understand and agree to the terms and conditions of use” box, and click the “continue” button.
- Proceed with placing your order.
- Click on “contact us” at the top of the page if you need assistance with placing your.
Once you have purchased the LYO9dtim package, please submit the following to CastleBranch:
- Nursing Program Student Health Information and Physical Form (PDF).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Health insurance card.
- Complete urine drug screening. Kathy Johnson will contact you about this.
- Learn more about how to submit documents to CastleBranch (PDF).
The deadline to complete the process of clinical clearance is July 10.
