Subject to any other specific requirements, recognized student organizations are eligible to:
- Have the cooperation and support of the University for the general good of the organizations and for specific projects and activities
- Represent themselves as being affiliated with University of Lynchburg
- Advertise on campus and use organizational names or symbols in advertising
- Schedule and use indoor and outdoor facilities
- Solicit memberships on campus
- Co-sponsor activities with other recognized organizations such as the Student Activities Board, SGA, or operations such as the Westover Room
- Apply for money from the SGA for events
- Conduct fundraising activities on campus
- Use the campus mail system
- Obtain an organizational mailbox
- Participate in the President’s Council
- Use the Student Organization Resource Room
- Participate in the annual leadership awards competition and student organization awards competition
- Obtain names of prospects, as available and appropriate, from the University (mailing addresses and other categorical information)
- Be listed in University publications
- Participate in showcase events
- Use University services such as the Print Shop
- Apply for an organization office space
- Collect membership dues
