COVID-19 might have disrupted a lot this past spring, but Dr. Robert Canida, the University of Lynchburg’s vice president for inclusive excellence, was determined to not let the pandemic affect the Office of Equity and Inclusion and its efforts to create a more inclusive, respectful campus environment.

University of Lynchburg celebrates Black History Month with ‘living wax museum,’ other events
Black history will come alive on Wednesday, February 26, when the University of Lynchburg’s Black Student Association presents a living wax museum featuring well-known people from African American history. The public event will be held at 6:30 p.m. in Hall Campus Center’s Memorial Ballroom. Admission is free.
