Biography: Teresa Angell completed her bachelor’s degrees in Cello Performance and Nursing in 2011 at the University of Lynchburg with highest honors in music. She worked as a psychiatric nurse at Virginia Baptist Hospital from 2011 to 2014 while maintaining a small private cello studio and staying active in orchestral music. After a breast cancer diagnosis in 2014, she took a hiatus from nursing to focus on her health and raising her two boys. She returned to performance in 2015 and now serves as principal cellist of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra. She also maintains a private cello studio and plays with the James Chamber Players. She lives in Forest with her husband, Jeffrey, and their two boys, Gabe and Tony.
