Director of the Master of PA Medicine Program
Dr. Melissa Shaffron serves as the Program Director for the PA Medicine program and has been a clinically practicing PA for over 10 years. She joined PA Education at the University of Lynchburg in 2018 and has previously held roles as adjunct faculty, Director of Clinical Education, and Associate Program Director. Dr. Shaffron received her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Masters of PA Studies from Duquesne University and her Doctor of Medical Science with a concentration on PA Education from the University of Lynchburg.
