Women, whether in the workforce, politics, or social influence groups, face a number of distinct communication challenges. This is particularly true for women in leadership roles. In fact, in many ways, women are unconsciously conditioned to communicate in ways that render them less effective at achieving their goals. These difficulties can include a failure to get credit for their ideas, the use of qualifiers, waiting their “turn” to speak up, doubting themselves, and experiencing lower external perception of their competence. This workshop offers certain skills, techniques, and strategies for overcoming these communication challenges.
