The Counseling Center at the University of Lynchburg provides extensive clinical training opportunities to graduate-level counseling and social work students in Virginia. We view graduate students as an integral part of our team, helping us fulfill our mission of supporting the emotional and mental well-being of the University community. Our clients benefit from the unique privilege of working with graduate students, as each client receives the additional support of a clinically experienced supervisor and a team of experts to assist in the therapeutic process. Graduate students who are selected to train at the University of Lynchburg Counseling Center will receive ongoing guidance, evaluation, and supervision throughout their field experience.
