The University of Lynchburg’s Master of Education in Pre-K-12 Administration and Supervision has been named an “Editor’s Top Pick” by Educational Leadership Degree, a website that helps connect educators with programs and resources that can help them advance in their careers.
The “Editor’s Top Picks” for “Educational Leadership Administrator Prep Master’s Degrees” were selected from among the nation’s private colleges and universities. Lynchburg was one of only three Virginia universities recognized in the South Atlantic Region category.
Lynchburg’s on-campus program also was the most affordable of those on the South Atlantic list, with a total estimated program cost of $18,315.
“We are always honored to be recognized by external reviewers for the quality of our programming and how the MEd in pre-K-12 administration and supervision is meeting the needs of our region’s educators and leaders,” said Dr. Emma Savage-Davis, professor of education and dean of the College of Education, Leadership Studies, and Counseling.
“We are proud to have had a tremendous impact in our region by producing a large number of current school and school division leaders. We look forward to continuing to offer our region’s educators and leaders quality training and support. This is our commitment to educators, leaders, and especially pre-K-12 students and their families.”
