Originally from High Point, North Carolina, Sloane Kelly ’22, ’24 MPAM said Lynchburg is a place that immediately feels like home.
“I have met so many people — peers, faculty, and staff — in my time at Lynchburg that I know will remain in my life post-graduation. It’s a place where I have always felt welcome and included in every department I’ve been involved in. Lynchburg doesn’t make you pick and choose what you’re interested in. You can be fully involved in anything and everything that interests you!”
Kelly is currently pursuing a Master of PA Medicine at the University of Lynchburg. While seeking her bachelor’s in health promotion, Sloane also worked at Centra’s Pearson Cancer Center, was a vocal performance minor, and worked at Reserve LBC in downtown Lynchburg.
Her Westover Honors senior research focused on “attitudes toward obesity in undergraduate and graduate students intending to enter the health care field.”
