Lynchburg’s Fall 2020 magazine is arriving in mailboxes this week.
This is the first issue since President Dr. Alison Morrison-Shetlar took office in August. It features a profile of Lynchburg’s fearless, and first female, servant leader. But because this is 2020, and because the Hive just mastered a near-impossible feat in keeping students on campus all semester, the bigger focus was clear.
There’s a series of “COVID essays” from students, faculty, and staff on how Hornets across campus handled the pandemic — and made 8,500 masks; a story on how athletics prepared for a safe fall semester; and an article about DMSc grads battling COVID-19 around the country.
