As of summer 2022, this program is called Graduate Pathways.
The University of Lynchburg is giving students a more clear path from high school through graduate school with eight Direct Admit Pathway Programs.
Each program offers freshmen and transfer students coming to the University of Lynchburg a pathway to a Lynchburg graduate program as they complete specific requirements as an undergraduate. As they complete the progression requirements for their programs, Direct Admit Pathways can transition directly to the graduate program.
“Many students in high school are already thinking ahead with career ambitions and plans to continue their education after college,” Rita Detwiler, vice president for enrollment management, said. “Our new Direct Admit Pathways help students map out their educational journey from their first day at the University of Lynchburg through their graduate education. This will help them become highly competitive in their careers after graduation.”
Pathways are available for the Doctor of Physical Therapy program and master’s degrees in PA medicine, business administration, athletic training, science education, reading instruction, non-profit leadership, and public health. The Direct Admit Pathways make it easier for students to plan for their future with confidence.
“Graduate education is becoming more important to help people begin and advance careers, and the University of Lynchburg’s graduate programs offer a wide range of possibilities,” said Dr. Allison Jablonski, provost.
“Many of our alumni have multiple degrees from Lynchburg, which reflects their commitment to lifelong learning. Our Direct Admit Pathways make Lynchburg a great choice for students who want strong academics and an engaging community throughout their undergraduate and graduate programs.”
